Board of Secondary Education Telangana State has adopted new system for issuing the TS SSC results for the students. It is called as grading system and it is introduced in the year 2012 by the SSC board which is also known as “Nine Point Relative Grading System”. This TS SSC Grading System will evaluate the performance of the candidate in the SSC public examinations and gives the result to the students in the form of grades and grade points without revealing the actual marks obtained by the student in the each subject and also the overall marks. Though it has been introduced to the candidates many years ago, the upcoming students are always new to this grading system and are searching for the clear process of it on the web. In view of this, we have come up with the grading system of the Telangana state here.
TS SSC Marks Grading System
Candidates can go through the below given TS SSC grading system table to know the grades and grade points that will be assigned to the range of marks obtained in languages and non-language subjects. The marks start from 0 to 100 whereas, the grades are given from A1 to E where A1 is the highest grade and the E is the lowest grade. 10 is the highest grade point for which the grade is A1 and the marks grade point less than 3 is the lowest grade point and the grade assigned for it is E which is considered as fail.

- 499 to 549 – Grade A2
- 448 to 498 – Grade B1
- 397 to 447 – Grade B2
- 346 to 396 – Grade C1
- 295 to 345 – Grade C2
- 245 to 294 – Grade D1
- 195 to 244 – Grade D2
- 194 and Below – Grade E
- WH – Result With Held for want of information
- MP – Malpractice
- CP – Compartmentally Passed
- AB – Absent for All Papers
With respect to the above shown example, the grade point that the student obtained is 9 and so the grade that will be assigned is A2 as per the grades given here.
